Today I printed out my charts that contained the data from my launch.  Each chart contained the pressure of the rockets, amount of water, gravity, weight, etc.  I have already started putting together my board and I am nearly finished.  I just need to glue down some things.

Today I started working on my design for my poster board.  I pretty much know already how the layout of my board will be, but I am putting it on paper so I can work out any kinks.  I also started my powerpoint this weekend.

Last week I found a problem with my launcher.  When I tried to launch my first rocket, the pressure was not strong enough, even though all my calculations showed that it should have been.  Then I found out wh it wasnt working.  It was because my non return valve (The valve that keeps the pressure from returning) was not sealed completely.  I was not sure how to fix this, but today, I figured out how to do so.   By using a mixture of apoxy glue it should be able to keep the valve sealed.

Today I used a simulator to expect how high my rockets should go.  I made 2 rockets (both the same) because I will not be using parachutes.  Trying to figure out an effective parachute and how it wont effect my height and launch would be to complicated and time consuming.  I had to delay my launch this past weekend and move it to the middle of this week.

Today I researched different fin designs.  Although I already have my rocket completed, the fins are a bit big and bulky.  So I found another design i can use, and luckily I will only have to make some minor adjustments to my rocket.  Other than that my rocket will be perfectly fine and I will be launching on friday.

Today I found the scale I need to measure the mass of my water.  I already have my measurements so finding the water in KG should be fairly easy.  Also I have my launcher and my rockets built so other than putting together my project board I should be finished by the end of the week.

Today I had to figure out how much water I needed to use for my rocket.  I already had the amount in water, but I had to convert it to volume.  To do this I had to use the equation for volume, which was:
Volume=Mass       .  I also changed the amount of water used in my second rocket from .99 kg to .66 kg
